DAVAS 2026: A New Alliance Takes Shape, Activating the Innovation Ecosystem

On the evening of May 27th, the DAVAS 2026 Gala Dinner marked a new turning point for the summit after three editions. Beyond its role as a startup and investment forum, DAVAS 2026 demonstrated its ambition to become a platform connecting innovation ecosystems and the digital economy on an international scale.
GOE Alliance Joins as Co-Creator, Expanding DAVAS's International Reach
A defining highlight of DAVAS 2026 was the participation of GOE Alliance — the Global On-chain Economy Alliance — as a co-creator of the program.
Speaking at the Gala Dinner, Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu Khoa, Secretary-General of GOE Alliance, stated:
"We did not come to Da Nang to observe. We came to begin."
GOE Alliance's participation is seen as a step that moves DAVAS beyond the boundaries of a local startup and investment forum, positioning it as a connection point within a cross-border on-chain economic network. This is also the first time an internationally affiliated alliance has chosen Da Nang as the launchpad for a strategic cooperation mechanism in innovation and the digital economy.
Launch of the Open Innovation Framework
One of the most prominent moments of the evening was the official launch of the Open Innovation Framework (OIF), with representatives from nine domestic and international organizations.
Mr. Le Son Phong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, commented that OIF aligns with the city's development direction for innovation:
"This is not merely a mechanism for signing agreements — it is oriented toward real-world execution and operation."
OIF is built on a cross-sector connection model, bringing together organizations across key areas of the digital ecosystem: DISSC (policy), Viettel IDC (digital infrastructure), Tether (digital finance), Sky Mavis (next-generation digital technology), Exabyte and TOTM Technologies (distributed ledger technology), Ekotek (technology services), and Siglaw IFC (international legal).
The framework aims to connect policy, technology, and resources to drive innovation initiatives with practical deployment potential.
DAVAS 2026: From Startup Event to Ecosystem Platform
Where previous editions of DAVAS focused on building a mark within the local startup community, DAVAS 2026 signals a shift toward ecosystem-level thinking.
As many localities continue to develop their digital economy strategies, Da Nang is progressively forming an operational foundation anchored in three core elements: an international alliance, a cross-sector coordination mechanism, and a technology enterprise community committed to implementation.
DAVAS 2026 therefore does not simply close another edition — it opens a new phase for Da Nang's innovation ecosystem, oriented toward regional and global connectivity.
